Hadi Choopan’s Last Chance for VISA Was Rejected

Hadi Choopan aka ‘The Persian Wolf’ is one of the top competitors in the 212 division. In fact, many experts hold him as the biggest threat to Flex Lewis at this years Olympia. However, Choopan’s last try for a VISA was rejected in the last instance as well.

When it comes to IFBB Pros who live up to the hype Choopan is definitely one of them. Choopan is actually one of those who has competed successfully in the 212 – as well as the open division. Choopan’s last win was at the Portugal pro in the 212-division where he won over the Mr. “Swiss Swole” Nicholas Vulliod. In addition, he placed second after a close battle against Cedric McMillan at the San Marino Pro in 2017.

Many people within the industry believe The Persian Wolf is the biggest threat to Flex Lewis at this year’s Olympia. In addition, they competed against each other at the Asia Grand Prix in 2017. It was a controversial win for Flex since many fans and experts had The Persian Wolf as the winner mainly, in regards to his conditioning.

However, Choopan’s dream to compete at the Olympia will not be fulfilled since he’s not been granted a VISA. He has tried many times but the application has been denied due to US travel ban for Iran and other countries in the middle east.

When or if we will see Choopan at the Olympia stage sometime in the future is uncertain. Despite that, this will not stop him from competitive bodybuilding. The Persian Wolf will definitely aim to compete in the pro shows in a close future where a travel ban won’t be a factor.
